As we step into the 2025/2026 school year, we are guided by a meaningful theme: Synergy in Action, Empowering Growth, Embracing Tomorrow,”. From July 14 to 18, 2025, all students at Petra 13 Christian Elementary School took part in the School Environment Introduction Week or Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS). This year’s MPLS theme reflects the shared commitment of collaboration among all members of the school community—teachers, staff, students, and families. Through unity and teamwork, the school believes true growth can be achieved in pursuit of a bright and promising future.

Throughout the five-day event, students engaged in a variety of fun and interactive activities. These included exploring their classrooms and school facilities, learning about school rules and values, meeting their homeroom and subject teachers, and participating in exciting team-building games. Each activity was carefully designed to help students feel comfortable, confident, and enthusiastic as they began their school life at Petra 13 Christian Elementary School. During this week school started at 7.20 a.m and ended at 11.00 a.m. The students learned about being kind as the theme of MPLS was “Ramah” and they made origami chain of people to represent kindness to others. They played games in groups to build good teamwork. The students also made crowns, jellyfish art and other crafts to improve their creativity. The teachers also presented a drama performance to entertain while giving some moral values to the students.
