As we step into the 2025/2026 school year, we are guided by a meaningful theme: “Synergy in Action, Empowering Growth, Embracing Tomorrow.” From July 14 to 18, 2025, all students at Petra 13 Christian Elementary School participated in the School Environment Introduction Week, known as Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS). This year’s MPLS theme reflects a shared commitment to collaboration among all members of the school community—teachers, staff, students, and families. Through unity and teamwork, the school believes that true growth can be achieved in the pursuit of a bright and promising future.

Throughout the five-day event, students took part in a variety of fun and interactive activities. These included exploring their classrooms and school facilities, learning about school rules and values, meeting their homeroom and subject teachers, and engaging in exciting team-building games. Each activity was thoughtfully designed to help students feel comfortable, confident, and enthusiastic as they began their journey at Petra 13 Christian Elementary School.

During this week, school started at 7:20 a.m. and ended at 11:00 a.m.. The students learned about kindness, as the MPLS theme was “Ramah” (Friendly). They created origami chains of people to symbolize kindness toward others and played group games to foster teamwork. In addition, students made crowns, jellyfish art, and other crafts to spark their creativity. The teachers also presented a drama performance that entertained the students while conveying meaningful moral values.
