We recently got the chance to visit one of the best universities in Asia through the Petra International Campus Tour (PICT), and honestly, it was such an exciting start! 😆✈️

On Saturday, 28 February 2026, we met early in the morning at Terminal 2, Juanda International Airport to check in at the Singapore Airlines counter. After a quick briefing and getting everything ready, we flew from Surabaya to Singapore on SQ 923 ✈️🇸🇬. When we arrived at Changi Airport Terminal 2, we went through immigration and collected our luggage. Everything went smoothly ✅, and it felt really cool to finally be in a country with a clear purpose—exploring study options overseas and experiencing what campus life abroad might be like 🌍📚.

In the afternoon, we went by bus to Nanyang Technological University (NTU) for their Annual Open House 🚌🏫. This was our first big activity in Singapore, and it instantly made the whole trip feel super real and inspiring 🤩. Two Petra alumni from Petra 1 and Petra 2 guided us during the campus tour, which helped a lot because they knew the place and could explain things from a student’s perspective 🙌✨.

Walking around NTU was honestly amazing 😍. The buildings looked super modern, the facilities were really advanced, and the whole campus just felt big, clean, and welcoming—exactly how we imagine a top university would be 🏙️🔥. Because it was Open House, there were also mini booths and info stations from different schools and programmes 🗂️💡. We got to ask about majors, programmes, and study pathways, and it was really helpful to hear the info directly 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️. The atmosphere wasn’t intimidating at all—more like interactive and open, so it felt easy to learn and explore 😊. After seeing everything, we totally understood why NTU is known as one of the best universities 💯. It’s not just about the name—it’s the environment, the opportunities, and how serious they are about supporting students 🚀🎓.

After NTU, we continued the evening at Bugis 🌃. Bugis Street at night was so lively and bright—really fun to walk around ✨🛍️. We explored a mall with lots of shops, and some of us even bought Pokémon cards (which was honestly a highlight for certain people! 😂🃏). Then we had dinner together, and the food was really good 😋🍽️—perfect after a long day.

Overall, Day 1 of PICT was such a great experience 🥳. From flying to Singapore, visiting NTU, and ending the day at Bugis, we felt happy, excited, and even more motivated about studying abroad 🌟📖. We had so much fun, learned a lot, and we really hope we can experience something like this again someday 🙏💙
