God’s Love, Love for Others
A joyful and colorful atmosphere filled the learning activities at Petra 10 Christian Playgroup and Kindergarten on Friday, February 13, 2026. Held within the school environment, the event was attended by all Playgroup and Kindergarten students along with their teachers. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the children actively took part in a creative activity by making special crafts for their beloved moms and dads.
This activity was organized not only to celebrate Valentine’s Day but also to cultivate the value of God’s love for others, especially within the family. Through this experience, the children learned that love can be expressed through simple yet sincere actions.
From early in the morning, the students were enthusiastic as they prepared the materials and tools provided by the teachers. With great excitement, they poured their love into meaningful, simple creations.
The students of Playgroup A painted heart shapes in pink, which helped them develop their fine motor skills. Meanwhile, Playgroup B created heart-shaped flowers using popsicle sticks and origami paper, carefully arranging and assembling each piece. Through these activities, students learned to develop their creativity, patience, and hand–eye coordination in a cheerful and enthusiastic atmosphere.
Kindergarten A students also made unique flower bouquets. These beautiful flowers were not ordinary ones, but handprint creations shaped and arranged into lovely bouquets. Each handprint symbolized their love and sincerity for their parents at home. With the teachers’ guidance, students chose colors, printed their hands on paper, and arranged them into charming floral designs.
Meanwhile, Kindergarten B students were equally creative. They made heart-shaped crafts sweetly decorated with candies in the center. They also created adorable bunny crafts holding chocolates. These creations showed just how eager the children were to give a special surprise to their moms and dads.
