Little Superheroes For The Earth

Published On: March 6, 2026

Hello, friends! On March 6th, 2026, my school held a Joyful Kids Camp with the theme Earth’s Little Hero. It was so much fun! Do you want to know more? Let’s read until the end!

That day, my friends and I came wearing colorful T-shirts based on our groups such as red, green, blue, yellow, pink, and black. Before starting, our teacher led us in a morning exercise called Anak Indonesia Hebat to keep our bodies healthy.

After that, we sang, praised God, and prayed. Then, we listened to God’s Word shared by Mrs. Susana. She told a story about superheroes like Superman, Gatotkaca, and Spider-Man. They worked together to fight a virus called BAL (Bad, Angry, Lazy). But even with all their strength, they could not defeat it.

Suddenly, a little child came and wanted to help. The superheroes underestimated the child and said, “You are still small. Just study!” But the child said he was not alone. He had a friend—Lord Jesus—who would help him.

The child asked Lord Jesus about the BAL virus. He said it makes children lazy, throw trash carelessly, fight with friends, not listen to parents, and not want to study. Then he asked, “How can I defeat it?”

Lord Jesus answered, “Be a good example. Take care of the earth and do good things, so others will follow you.”

The child obeyed. Slowly but surely, the virus began to disappear until it was completely gone.

“Who wants to be like that child?” asked Mrs. Susana. We all raised our hands.

After listening to God’s Word shared by Mrs. Susana, we continued with fun outbound activities. There were five stations for us to complete.

At the first station, we learned how to sort trash. We grouped organic waste, such as leftover food, dry leaves, and fruit peels, and inorganic waste, such as plastic, paper, and cardboard. We learned that throwing trash is not only about putting it in the bin, but also about sorting it to take care of our Earth.

At the second station, we played a teamwork game. We had to carry a ball on a plate using many strings, like an octopus. Each of us held one string and walked together to the finish line. It was not easy because the ball kept falling, but we worked together and finally succeeded! We learned the importance of teamwork.

At the third station, we worked together to complete an Earth puzzle. We learned that teamwork is important, and just like a puzzle, we need to understand the whole picture. We also learned that reading the Bible helps us know what is right and wrong.

At the fourth station, we learned to care for living things by planting plants. This taught us how to take care of nature.

At the fifth station, we played a water relay game. We wore raincoats and passed a cup of water over our heads to our friends behind us. We had to be careful so the water would not spill. From this activity, we learned to use water wisely, like turning off the tap when it is not in use.

Hooray! We completed all the stations. It was so much fun, and we learned how to become little superheroes who take care of the Earth!

After we finished the outbound activities, we ate together. The food was very delicious! We had meatball soup with mustard greens, corn soup, rolade, and watermelon.

Before eating, our teacher reminded us to pray and to finish our food as a way to thank God. After eating, we learned to put our dirty plates, spoons, and forks in the proper place. We also said thank you for the meal.

Before going home, our teacher invited us to praise God and reminded us to be little superheroes who can fight the BAL virus by being good examples to others. I will start from myself.

Before the closing prayer, we took a group photo and received a souvenir to remind us to take care of the Earth.

Thank you for listening to my story. God bless you.
