On 18 October 2025, Petra 13 Christian Elementary School hosted a vibrant and engaging event—ASCE (Art, Science, and Charity Event)—with the theme “Brave Explorers, Growing Together”. This special open house was designed for Kindergarten Grade B pupils who will soon begin their journey in elementary school. The event welcomed many enthusiastic children and their parents. The school prepared a variety of educational and enjoyable challenges for the young participants, including Math, Science, puzzles, coding, music, and physical activities—all aimed at helping children learn through play.

While the children explored exciting activities, their parents joined a Morin-supported cooking demonstration, enthusiastically making cupcakes and milkshakes. The event also featured Opi, the owl mascot of PPPK Petra, symbolising students’ growth, curiosity, and potential.

Students from Petra 13 Elementary and Petra Acitya Junior High School also took part in the event. The opening featured two spectacular performances: the traditional “Jamuran” dance, and an ensemble of singing, dancing, and pianica by our elementary students. The challenges were presented and explained by Year 5 and 6 pupils, alongside junior high school students, showcasing their confidence, public speaking skills, and teamwork.

Teachers and staff guided the children throughout the event, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere. Participants had the opportunity to explore the school, meet future teachers, and experience what it feels like to be a Petra 13 student.

The event concluded with the announcement of the top six participants, followed by the distribution of school merchandise including tumblers and keychains.
The ASCE 2025 event was not only educational but also truly memorable. It gave kindergarten pupils a glimpse into elementary school life and helped them feel more confident and excited to begin their new journey at Petra 13 Christian Elementary School.
